General description of the service
Explanations on the implementation of the service
The purchasing process in our online shop is designed to provide simple and intuitive operation for as many users as possible. You can find the products you want using both the logically structured product categories and the easily accessible and powerful search function. The product pages provide all relevant information and detailed product descriptions, and individual selection options are clearly marked. Adding the item to the shopping cart is done via a clear button. Your digital shopping cart is accessible at any time via the permanently positioned shopping cart icon in the top right-hand corner of the website. It offers a transparent overview, allows you to easily adjust quantities, and conveniently remove or add products. The rest of the ordering process guides you in a clearly structured manner through the entry of the data required for ordering and delivery, the selection of the delivery and payment method, and the final purchase.
Meeting accessibility requirements
Wissner Aktiv Lernen's digital offerings are designed to fully comply with legal accessibility requirements. This is based on Sections 3 and 4 of the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG) and the BFSG Ordinance issued thereunder.
Specifically, we are guided by the harmonized standard EN 301 549, which means that our offerings comply in particular with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) Version 2.2 at Level AA.
Our goal is to provide an accessible, intuitive, understandable, and safe shopping experience for all users—including those with physical, sensory, or cognitive impairments. We achieve this by implementing the following core principles:
Perceptibility:
- Legibility and contrast: We use a legible font with adequate size and spacing. All text and visual elements have sufficient color contrast.
- Alternative texts: Images are provided with understandable alternative texts, except for purely decorative elements.
Usability:
- Keyboard access: All functions on wissner-aktiv-lernen.com are fully accessible via keyboard. The focus order is logical, and active elements are clearly highlighted visually when navigating.
- Touch targets: Interactive click and touch areas are sufficiently large and offer sufficient distance from other elements to facilitate operation.
- Screen reader support: The robustness of our programming ensures flawless use with screen readers.
Comprehensibility and security:
- Structure and language: We rely on clear, logical structures with short sentences and paragraphs.
- Forms and processes: The ordering process offers auto-completion assistance and supports incorrect entries with detailed error descriptions.
Continuous quality assurance:
Our digital applications are regularly reviewed and adapted to ensure compliance with legal requirements and to continuously improve usability for all customers.
We strive to make all areas of our store accessible. Should you nevertheless encounter areas where using our services is not entirely accessible for you, we are of course happy to offer you support: You can contact our customer service team at any time by mail, email, or phone. We will be happy to help you obtain information, complete an order, or provide support through alternative means to ensure you can use all of our products and services.
